Manus for Business: Pricing, Use Cases, and Alternatives (2026)

Manus for Business is the team version of the Manus AI agent, launched on October 13, 2026. It covers a Team plan and an Enterprise plan. The Team plan starts at US$20 per seat per month and pools credits across seats. It adds shared Projects, shared Skills, free guest seats, and admin controls.
This guide covers what Manus announced, what the Team plan includes, and Manus for Business pricing. It also covers sharing and privacy, real use cases, and the main alternatives. Facts and prices were read from Manus's own pages on October 15, 2026.
What Manus announced on October 13
Manus published "Introducing Manus for Business: Become an AI-native company today" on its blog on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. The post opens with how the Manus team itself works. Its product managers use Manus "to consolidate and prioritize product feedback the team posts in Slack." Team leaders use it "to assign tasks and track progress."
The post then names two plans: a Team Plan and an Enterprise Plan. Manus says it hopes "to bring the same power to everyone out there who wants to build an AI-native company." The Team plan is self-serve. The Enterprise plan goes through sales.
The launch follows two other updates. On September 1, Manus said it "has formally resumed independent operations." On September 28, it released Manus 2.0, a new agent architecture with Automations and a desktop workspace called Manus Studio. Manus for Business packages those tools for teams.
What Manus for Business includes
The announcement lists five parts of the team experience.
- Projects that carry context. Teams can "Share instructions, files, Skills, and connector settings across related tasks." The post adds that "Scheduled tasks can use the same Project context for recurring work, such as a weekly report."
- Shared Skills. A Skill packages a method so others can reuse it. The post says "Administrators can enforce a Skill when a process needs to stay consistent."
- Collaboration with boundaries. Teammates can work on shared tasks. A Team Only access setting keeps supported tasks, replays, files, and internal sites inside the workspace.
- Shared capacity. The post says "Credits from paid seats are pooled, billed centrally, and tracked in a team usage dashboard."
- Admin controls. Roles, sharing controls, audit logs, SSO, and SCIM help administrators manage access.
Manus also lists security commitments. The post says "Manus prohibits model providers from training on Team customer data." It adds that Manus "holds SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and ISO 27701 certifications."
The post also describes what the agent produces, with outputs "ranging from research reports to PowerPoints to dashboards and multimedia outputs." It also says "Manus allows you to deploy hundreds of sub-agents in one task."
Manus for Business pricing
Manus lists the Team plan price on its team page and in the launch post. The team page FAQ says "Manus Team starts from US$20 per seat per month or US$200 per seat per year." That price is "based on the base level of 4,000 credits per seat per month."
| Manus for Business item | What Manus lists |
|---|---|
| Team seat, billed monthly | US$20 per seat per month |
| Team seat, billed yearly | US$200 per seat per year |
| Credits per seat | 4,000 per month, pooled across the team |
| Guest seat | Free, with no limit on the number of guests |
| SSO, 30 or more seats | Included |
| SSO, under 30 seats | Add-on for a flat fee of US$150 |
| Enterprise | Contact sales |
Teams can buy more capacity. The FAQ says "Owners and Super Admins can also purchase add-on credits in Team settings and enable auto-purchase." That setting helps prevent interruptions when credits run low.
Pooling changes how a team budgets. The FAQ says "If one member uses fewer credits in a given month, the surplus is available to others." A heavy user and a light user draw from the same pool.
Manus's individual plans are listed on its pricing page. That page did not load in readable form for us, so this guide does not list individual prices. Check the Manus pricing page for the Free and Pro tiers in your region.
Team plan vs. Enterprise plan
Manus draws the line between the two plans on its team page. "Manus Team is built for groups that want shared credits, projects, and collaboration out of the box." Enterprise is for organizations that need "stricter governance."
| Team plan | Enterprise plan | |
|---|---|---|
| How to buy | Self-serve from your account page | Through sales |
| Credits | Pooled across paid seats | Per-user budgets available |
| Identity | SSO included at 30+ seats, add-on below | Enforced SSO and managed accounts |
| Audit | Audit logs | Legal hold and live SIEM audit feeds |
| Network | — | Agent network controls |
| Billing | Central billing | Corporate invoicing available |
The launch post says the Enterprise plan covers "managed accounts, legal hold, SIEM log integration, agent network controls, or per-user usage limits." If your security team needs any of those, start with a sales conversation about Enterprise rather than the Team plan.
How sharing and privacy work in a Team workspace
Tasks start private. A Manus help article says "All tasks are designated as private, and team members do not have access to tasks created by other members." To share one, you open the task, choose Team access, and copy the link.
Projects work the same way. The Manus documentation says "Projects and individual tasks are private by default." When you invite a colleague to a project, they get the shared instruction and knowledge base. They "can only see the tasks they have created themselves within that project."
Guests sit in between. The team page says guests "can view shared deliverables, watch task replays, download files, and leave comments, but cannot create tasks or prompt the AI." A help article sums up the rule: guests can do "any action a full member can that does not consume AI credits."
A guest who needs more can ask for it. The guest tries a credit-using feature, sends a request, and an administrator approves or rejects it. Once approved, that person takes a paid seat.
Use cases for Manus for Business
Manus's own examples point to five kinds of team work.
Weekly reports on a schedule. A project holds the instruction and the source files. A scheduled task reuses that context each week. Manus's Automations documentation lists "Daily briefs, weekly reports, recurring research, and one-time reminders" as schedule examples.
Event-driven tasks. Automations can also start from an event. The documentation says "A Schedule starts from time. A Triggered task starts from an event." Its examples include processing an invoice email and preparing for a calendar event.
Decks for clients and leadership. The Manus Slides documentation says Manus "creates complete presentations from a simple description." It lists PowerPoint, PDF, web slides, and a separate speaker notes document as export formats. Guests can then review and comment on the deck.
Feedback triage. Manus describes its own product managers pulling feedback from Slack into one prioritized list. A shared Skill can keep that method the same across product teams.
Internal tools and prototypes. The team page says "Build and host the internal tools, automations, and web apps you never had time for." For a team without spare engineering time, that is the pitch.
What arrived with Manus 2.0
Several features in Manus for Business come from the Manus 2.0 release on September 28. The announcement says "Manus 2.0 is not a version update. It's a new architecture, new products, and new capabilities."
Three parts matter for teams:
- Cascade. Manus calls it "the latest iteration of our in-house agent harness."
- Automations. The release says "Scheduled Tasks used to let Manus start work only at a set time." Now a new email, a Slack message, or a Notion update can also start a task.
- Manus Studio. The desktop app became "a shared workspace for people and AI." It covers documents, spreadsheets, PDFs, slides, websites, code, games, and video.
Manus 2.0 also introduced Cue, a separate app for personal agents. Cue is not part of the Team plan announcement.

Where a file-first analysis workspace fits
Manus for Business is built around a general agent that can research, build, and publish. Some teams have a narrower job. They have spreadsheets, PDFs, and exports, and they need analysis they can check, plus a report or deck at the end.
That is the job Powerdrill Bloom is built for. Its homepage calls it "The AI data analyst that shows its work." It adds that "Every number comes back with the page, the row and the figure behind it."
Powerdrill Bloom also has a team plan. Its pricing page lists Team Pro at $199.00 per seat per year, with "All features included in the Pro Plan." Team members "share Team Credits," and "Each member uses one Seat." The Pro plan lists 20 scheduled tasks and the ability to "Run built-in and custom agent skills." For finished outputs, the AI report generator page covers exports to PPT and other formats.
The two products can work side by side. A team can let Manus handle research, web apps, and video. The same team can use Powerdrill Bloom when the deliverable is a number that has to hold up in a review. Want to see it on your own data? Try Powerdrill Bloom with one recent export.
How to evaluate a team AI agent plan
Before you buy seats for any team agent, run a short trial on real work. Five checks are a good start.
- Credit math. Count how many tasks your team runs in a normal week. Run three of them and note the credits each one uses. Multiply before you choose a seat count.
- Privacy defaults. Confirm who can see a task by default. In Manus, tasks start private, and sharing is a deliberate step.
- Reviewers. List the people who only review and comment. In Manus, they can be free guests.
- Recurring work. Pick one weekly report. Set it up once as a project with a schedule, and check the second run without changes.
- Exit path. Export a deck and a report in the formats your team already uses. Make sure the files open cleanly outside the tool.
Write down the results for each check, then compare them across tools at the end of the trial.
