A. SUMMARY Historic districts in San Francisco. These include districts listed in Articles 10 and 11 of the San Francisco Planning Code and districts listed or eligible for listing in the California Register of Historical Resources and/or the National Register of Historic Places (links below). B. HOW THE DATASET IS CREATED District boundaries have been mapped by the San Francisco Planning Department. C. UPDATE PROCESS The data is updated several times a year when new historic districts are approved by the Historic Preservation Commission, or when historic districts are listed or found to be eligible for listing in the California Register of Historical Resources and/or the National Register of Historic Places. This dataset syncs with the Planning Department's database very night, so any edits to that primary data source are reflected in this dataset the following morning. D.
