10 Best Canva AI Alternatives for Slides and Reports in 2026

Powerdrill Bloom·
10 Best Canva AI Alternatives for Slides and Reports in 2026

The best Canva AI alternatives for slides and reports start with Powerdrill Bloom, Visme, Beautiful.ai, Pitch, and Plus AI. The list also includes Presentations.AI, Microsoft 365, Piktochart, Infogram, and Storydoc. Four are AI presentation makers. Three are visual content platforms for decks, documents, and infographics. Three focus on data-led reports or office apps.

This list is ordered for reading rather than ranked by score. A tool appearing above another says nothing about which suits your work better. Every price below was read from the vendor's own pricing page on October 28, 2026. No third-party review scores were used.

Why people look for Canva AI alternatives

Canva AI is the assistant built into Canva. Canva describes it as a tool that "helps you create and edit designs, images and videos, and brainstorm ideas with ease." At Canva Create 2026, the company launched Canva AI 2.0. It lets you "create and edit in Canva by chatting with AI in the editor."

Search suggestions show what people want to know. They include "canva ai alternatives free," "canva ai alternatives reddit," and "non ai canva alternatives." Those point to a few practical reasons to look elsewhere:

  • The best AI features need a paid plan. Canva's help center says Canva AI 2.0 features "are available with" Canva Pro, Teams, Business, and Nonprofit. Canva Free gets limited monthly AI use.
  • AI use is metered. Canva's pricing page lists "Up to 20 Standard or Premium AI uses" on Free and "10x more AI than Canva Free" on Pro. It also offers an "AI Pass add-on" at extra cost.
  • Slides count toward the allowance. Canva says "Canva AI for Presentations is a premium AI tool that counts toward your monthly AI usage."
  • Data decks have limits. For presentations built from data, Canva says "Entering a new prompt won't change charts that already exist."
  • Some people want less AI, not more. Canva's FAQ says "Canva AI is a core feature and can't be fully turned off."

The right pick depends on what you make most. A sales team wants polished decks fast. A marketer wants infographics and on-brand documents. An analyst wants a report built from the numbers. The list covers all three.

How these tools were evaluated

Thirty-two candidates were assessed. Twenty-two were removed. Ten made the list.

Every candidate had to pass three checks on its own pricing page on the day of review. The page had to name the product. It had to show tier prices in US dollars and say how they are billed. And a limited-time price could not stand in for the regular one. Discounts limited to students, schools, or nonprofits did not count against a tool.

Candidates also had to make slides, documents, or visual reports with AI help. That ruled out tools built mainly for social posts, video, or photo editing.

The twenty-two removals fell into seven groups:

  • Prices not in US dollars in the default view (7). Gamma, Figma, Kittl, Lucid, Picsart, and SlidesAI showed yen in our browser. Mentimeter showed euros.
  • Pricing page served in another language (2). Prezi's and Desygner's pricing pages opened in Chinese.
  • Billing period or price not readable (3). Venngage showed two prices per plan without saying which was monthly or yearly. Napkin AI's cards said "per person / month" and showed the billing period only on a switch. Adobe Express showed no dollar amounts.
  • Time-limited price (1). Decktopus marked its plan prices with a time-limited percentage reduction.
  • Pricing page not found or blocked (3). Genially and Easel.ly returned error pages, and VistaCreate blocked access.
  • Price for a different product (1). Zoho Show's pricing page sent buyers to a Zoho WorkDrive plan.
  • Outside this list's scope (5). Simplified sells AI agents for social posts and ads. Kapwing is a video editor, Snappa makes social graphics, and Pixlr edits photos. Slidebean's plans center on startup fundraising decks.

Pages that failed on the first load were opened again in a desktop browser before any removal. A page counted as unreadable only if the browser also failed to show plan prices in US dollars.

These checks depend on the day and the location. Canva itself showed Hong Kong dollars in our browser, and its U.S. page showed US dollars. A tool removed today may pass next month, and a listed tool may change its page.

Why Powerdrill Bloom is recommended as a Canva AI alternative

Powerdrill Bloom passed the same three pricing checks as every other tool here. It is recommended as a Canva AI alternative for one part of the job: slides and reports that start from data. That covers sales exports, financial statements, survey files, and PDFs.

Its Excel to PPT tool analyzes a spreadsheet, CSV, or PDF, then builds slides from the findings. Each figure traces back to its source row or page. A Free plan is available, and Pro is $13.27/mo.

It is not a general design tool. Readers who need social posts, posters, or brand templates should look at Visme or Piktochart from this list. Readers who want polished decks from a prompt should look at Beautiful.ai or Pitch.

Against Canva AI, it covers the data side of the job. Canva AI starts from a design idea or a template. Powerdrill Bloom starts from a spreadsheet or document, runs the analysis, then builds the deck or report.

It suits analysts, finance leads, and managers who present numbers every week or month.

Key features

  • Slides from data. The Excel to PPT page says it can "generate presentation-ready slides automatically."
  • One-click export. You can "Choose a template you like, adjust as needed, and export to PowerPoint in one click."
  • Reports from files. The AI Report Generator builds reports "with insights, trends, and patterns revealed."
  • Traced figures. The homepage says "Every number comes back with the page, the row and the figure behind it."
  • Scheduled Agent. The changelog says each run "delivers the results to your workspace, so the report is already waiting when you get there."

  • Builds the report and the slides from the same analysis.

What Canva AI itself offers

Canva AI has grown into a full assistant across Canva's Visual Suite. Canva's help center describes five strengths:

  • Presentations from a prompt. "With Canva AI, you can start your presentation by describing your idea, outline, slides, or content."
  • Presentations from data. You can "Upload a CSV file, import from Canva Sheets, or connect a source." The AI "can generate 15 chart types based on your data."
  • Sheets. Canva AI 2.0 can "Create charts and visualizations from your data" and "Generate formulas for calculations."
  • Connectors. You can "Connect apps like Slack, Gmail, Zoom, or Notion to Canva AI." Canva notes these "currently support read-only access."
  • Memory. "Canva AI 2.0 learns your preferences with Memory Library."

Canva's U.S. pricing page lists Free at US$0 per year and Pro at US$144 per year for one person. Business is US$250 per year per person. Enterprise is by contact.

Canva is also clear about limits. Its FAQ asks "Are Canva AI results always accurate?" and answers "No. Canva AI can make mistakes." It advises checking "Facts and data" and "Names, dates, and figures."

If you design across many formats and already pay for Canva Pro, keep it. The Canva AI alternatives above help most in three cases. One is when your deck must start from data. Another is when you must deliver in PowerPoint. The third is when you want a dedicated presentation or infographic tool.

For more slide tools, see our list of PowerPoint alternatives.

How to choose between them

Start with what you make most often.

If you want one editor for decks, documents, and infographics, choose Visme. It is the closest all-round match to Canva.

If you want polished decks from a prompt, choose Beautiful.ai or Presentations.AI. Beautiful.ai leads on auto-aligning layouts, and Presentations.AI on brand application.

If your team builds decks together, choose Pitch. It adds collaboration and engagement links.

If you must deliver in PowerPoint or Google Slides, choose Plus AI or Microsoft 365. Plus AI works inside both, and Microsoft 365 adds Copilot to Word and Excel too.

If you explain data to a broad audience, choose Piktochart or Infogram. Infogram leads on interactive charts and live data.

If you send decks to prospects and track reading, choose Storydoc.

If your slides and reports start from a spreadsheet, choose Powerdrill Bloom. It traces each figure to its source and builds the report and deck from the same analysis.

A quick test helps. Take one deck you would make with Canva AI. Build it in two tools from this list, and compare the time and the fixes you needed.

Final verdict

The ten tools fall into three groups.

AI presentation makers are Beautiful.ai, Pitch, Plus AI, and Presentations.AI. They are the closest replacements for Canva AI's deck feature. Beautiful.ai leads on layouts, Pitch on teamwork, Plus AI on PowerPoint and Slides, and Presentations.AI on brand output.

Visual content platforms are Visme, Piktochart, and Storydoc. They cover decks plus documents, infographics, and interactive pages. Visme is the broadest, Piktochart suits infographics, and Storydoc suits sales collateral.

Data-led reports and office apps are Powerdrill Bloom, Infogram, and Microsoft 365. Powerdrill Bloom builds slides and reports from data files with traced figures. Infogram publishes interactive charts, and Microsoft 365 puts Copilot inside Office.

No single tool here copies Canva AI feature for feature. Most people who look elsewhere pick by their main output first, then by price.
